The Routes & Roots Festival 2026 is bringing even more of Western Uganda’s musical spirit to the heart of Fort Portal as we proudly welcome Ray G to the festival lineup.
Known for his distinctive sound, powerful Runyankole music and deep connection with audiences across Western Uganda, Ray G has become a prominent voice representing the region’s musical and cultural identity.
From 29th–31st October 2026, Ray G will join an exciting lineup of artists and cultural experiences at Lake Saaka Recreation Centre, Fort Portal Tourism City, as Routes & Roots celebrates music, culture, food, art, tourism and adventure under the theme “Different Routes. Shared Roots.”
